Everything's been either really bleh lately or really stressful. I moved in with my grandma so I could go to the college I want, so it's been very different. I'm not totally adjusted yet.

 

Anyway, I'm taking Graphic Design 1, so I'm gonna try to post stuff from that class. I don't have my stained glass studio up here, so all those projects are unfortunately on hold indeffinitely. I have a sewing project that I hope to start working on soon.

 

My lamp shade didn't sell, unfortunately, but I learned a lot and I hope to have it in again next year. If everything goes right, I should have two more pieces in, though they won't be for sale. I have one more picture to post of the lamp shade details.

 

Yeah, that's it for now. Things are still really different right now, but hopefully I'll be on more often.

So I'm leaving for Comic Con on Wednesday. I'm really excited, but also quite stressed and nervous. I still have a lot of stuff to do before I go.

I HAVE ARTWORK IN THE ART SHOW AT COMIC CON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My Batman lamp shade is going in the show. I got the call yesterday saying I'd been moved off the wait list and into the show I have a few last minute touches I need to finish tonight and I should have pictures up tomorrow night. If you'll be at the con I'd really appreciate it if you swung by the gallery and checked it out. Comment or send me a message if you do. OH MY GOSH I'M SO STOKED!!!!

School was rather rough this past semester. But it's over now, so I'm back. I made a lampshade in class (it's Batman themed ), but I need to redo the finish because the solder oxidized. I'll definitely get it done in the next few weeks 'cause there's a chance I might get it in an art show this summer. Pics to come as soon as I finished. I've also been working on four of the six Christmas presents I didn't get done in time. As if that isn't enough, I have two sewing projects to do! Comment here if you'd like to see WIPs for any of the projects and I will do my best to oblige. Oh, and I have some stories from the spring semester that I still need to upload.

No, Comic Con didn't kill me. Filled me with joy, broke my heart, gave me a place to fit in, yes. Kill me, no. I'm sure some of you might have thought that seeing as I never did update my journal after I got back. Sorry.

Anyway, college is back. I managed to get in both Stained Glass and Creative Writing. Eventually I'll post stuff from those. (I don't actually want to post my stained glass piece until after Christmas, it's a commission form a friend for her husband's Christmas present and I don't want it on the interwebs until it's been gifted). Speaking of which, I've started working on some of the stained glass pieces I'm giving people for Christmas. I think I'll be able to post some of them before Christmas, but since so many of the people I'm making them for have their own DA accounts, I'm going to have to wait.

I'll also be posting the three stories I'm writing for Creative Writing, probably along with some of my better writing activities. But that'll be a while; I have to type them up, edit them, etc.

Oh! And I've started my Steampunk Assassin costume! I'll make a poll to see if you want me to post updates or not. Hopefully I'll be better about that.

Um... I will try to be better about posting things/responding to stuff. I just really like to see messages in my inbox, and if I reply to them they go away Things are just so busy right now, between school, work, volunteering, actually making art. I should get used to it though, that's life right?
